Medical care is provided by Board Certified Allergist Nalini Rohatgi, M.D. who has practiced in Tampa Bay since 1987. Our two offices are located in New Tampa and Central Tampa. We treat adult and pediatric patients of all ages. Our practice strives to make your experience personal and rewarding by ensuring that your care is provided by the same doctor at all of your visits. We provide early morning and Saturday hours to accommodate your family and work schedule. Most insurance plans (HMOs, PPOs, Indemnity plans, Medicare, Medicare Advantage plans, etc.) are accepted.
About Nalini Rohatgi, M.D.
Dr. Rohatgi is an experienced, knowledgeable and compassionate physician who is well liked by her patients and respected by her peers. She received allergy fellowship training from world renowned National Jewish Hospital and Research Center for Immunology and Respiratory Diseases in Denver, Colorado, after completing her residency training at University of Connecticut Health Sciences Center in Farmington Connecticut. She has carried out research in her field and has published her work in peer review journals.
Dr. Rohatgi is Board Certified by American Board of Allergy and Immunology which assures that Dr. Rohatgi has achieved certifiable levels of excellence in the subspecialty of Allergy and Immunology.
Our practice is limited to the field of Allergy, Asthma, Immunology and Sinus (Adult and Pediatric). It is important that you see your primary care physician for your other healthcare needs. We diagnose and treat conditions such as:
Allergies of Nose, Eyes and Sinuses or Hay Fever
(sneezing, itchy and runny stuffy nose, postnasal drip, sinus congestion, sinus pressure, red, itchy, watery and swollen eyes) to Pollens, Animal Dander, Dust mites, Molds, Cockroaches etc.
Asthma and Shortness of breath
Eczema, Contact Dermatitis
Insect & Drug Allergies
(causing constant stuffy nose, snoring, chronic sinusitis, inability to smell or taste, headache)
Non Allergic Rhinitis
Sinus Problems and Sinusitis
Skin Rashes, Hives, and Itchy skin
Vocal Cord Dysfunction, etc.
New Patient Visit:
At your first visit we will create a medical record for you. Please bring the following:
Insurance card (you will need to update information if insurance changes)
Picture ID (guardianship papers if you are not the biological parent of a minor)
Referral (if required by your insurance company)
Any X-rays or CAT scan films and previous medical records
You will have to fill out few forms at your first visit. We are in full compliance with HIPAA Guidlines.
